Who We Are
Our company, Waste Away Consulting, is an affiliate of Environmental Waste Solutions. We are trained and certified solid waste management consultants and are part of a national network of over 700 EWS Affiliates. EWS is the national leader in this field since 1994. We are not a waste hauling company, but rather a waste and recycling cost reduction company. EWS supports all of its affiliates with the necessary tools and information to keep current on all waste-related issues and the latest technology and methods to reduce your waste and recycling expenses.
What We Do
We collect information relating to our client’s current waste and recycling programs and associated expenses (waste hauler invoices, potential site visits, etc.). All we need to do our job are copies of past invoices and a Letter of Authorization so we can get information from their waste hauler(s).
We then analyze the collected information and do the necessary research, so that we can develop recommendations designed to reduce our clients’ future waste and recycling expenses. This allows them to remain in control of their expenses while we work to reduce these costs. We then present these savings recommendations to them, along with the expected savings, for their review and approval. Once they approve our specific savings recommendations, we do all the work to implement these approved recommendations at their respective locations. In addition, we provide ongoing monthly reports quantifying the savings generated. We are only interested in implementing quantifiable long-term savings solutions for our clients.

Hiring us requires NO funding, NO budgetary review, NO capital outlay and NO risk. We are not adding to our clients’ project list–we’re taking away from it. We do all the work while they reap the benefits of the savings. Waste Away Solutions and EWS invests their time and money in our clients’ business to find savings for them. We are available now to help reduce their waste disposal and recycling expenses.
How We Are Paid
Because our clients pay NO money up front, all we ask in return is a commitment to share in the savings that we produce for them. We do not get paid anything unless we save them money. Again, we do not get paid anything unless we save them money.
How Much We Can Save Our Clients
Let’s say that the average monthly waste spend for a company is $4,000. EWS and its affiliates like Waste Away Consulting save our clients an average of 35% on their waste bill. So, on a bill of $4000/month a 35% savings = $1,400/month. Your shared portion would then be $700/month or $8,400 a year. Of course, the higher the overall bill the greater the potential savings, and if we can find more than 35% savings all the better. Hopefully this gives you a small idea of how much money EWS can save you.
